Kim Kardashian would need to fly European workers in to repair floors

US reality star Kim Kardashian and her husband, musician Kanye West, have renovated a $60 million mansion in Los Angeles.

If the floors of the mansion get scuffed, they will have to fly in a team from Europe to repair them, which make them perhaps the most expensive floors in America to maintain.

The floors are constructed from a special plaster made by a Belgium-based company which is the only business that can repair the floors. When a journalist visited the Kardashian’s home, he had to wear soft cloth booties to prevent damage to the floor and a gigantic repair bill.

Fortunately for people living in less expensive properties, solid flooring in Wirral homes and workplaces is a lot easier to maintain and visitors will not have to take their shoes off to protect the floors from harm. Whether the flooring is made from wood, laminate or engineered wood, dust and debris can simply be brushed up or vacuumed. Specialist cleaning products with microfibre mops will keep floors looking their best. Spilt liquids will not damage the floor either, as long as they are wiped up quickly.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s mansion is described as “minimal monastery” style with muted beige, white and light brown colours. There are floor coverings that can copy this style, but with a wide range of colours and patterns to choose from, solid floorings can be found to suit any style of room from traditional to contemporary.
