Fish and chip restaurant uses Polyflor for design

A bespoke floor from Polyflor features in a new fish & chip restaurant near Preston.

The Flower Bowl is a single storey complex featuring a grass turf roof built at Barton Grange near Preston. It houses a cinema, crazy golf, a curling rink, a bowling alley and several restaurants.

One of the restaurants, Ocean Fish and Chips has a maritime-themed décor. Designer Nigel Phillips worked with Polyflor’s design service to create a bespoke floor using its Palettone PUR range. Buttered corn, hay grain and caramel kick colours created the sand effect which is paired with a range of blues including superior sky, sapphire star and weekend sky to create sea shore patterns.

Nigel Phillips commented on this collaboration with Polyflor:

“For the Fish and Chip restaurant, I chose to use the Polyflor Palettone range. Apart from having experienced the reliability and quality of Polyflor products on previous projects, Palettone has a wide range of colours which enabled me to create the sand and sea effect for the floor and was the perfect choice.”

Polyflor vinyl floor coverings are suitable for heavy traffic areas and create stylish looks.

Businesses choosing solid flooring for their Cheshire workplace, may not have the budget for a bespoke design, but Polyflor’s range of hard wearing floors is suitable for a variety of areas. Its Palettone PUR range is 100% recyclable and is made from 25% recycled materials. It is available in a range of 50 colours, from pale neutrals to bright intense shades.
